Welcome
I am a local government manager with four years at chief officer level in two inner London Boroughs – with a background in project management, customer services and equalities – giving me both strategic and hands on experience, and a sensitivity to the issues facing senior managers in the public sector.
I have a Masters in Public Administration from Warwick Business School (2003) and was senior research fellow at WBS on a project to evaluate the use of Lean in the public sector in Scotland (2006).
I offer a range of services to local authorities and other public sector organisations: customer services strategy development and programme planning, project evaluation, research and analysis and document synthesis .
I also provide a Spanish/English translation service.
Since becoming a freelance consultant last year I have worked for the new Cornwall Council – helping them develop a single approach to customer services, for Enfield Homes, evaluating their customer outreach programme, for Haringey Council, reviewing and rewriting their customer service strategy, and for an English NHS Hospital Trust evaluating their Lean & Lean Six Sigma training programme.
“In my experience, Andrew has proven himself to be to be a very safe pair of hands. He completely understands the customer service transformation agenda, having delivered it himself in numerous authorities.”
